  1. THIS SIGN LOOKS LIKE THE ORIGINAL TAKEN SOMETIME IN THE EARLY 1900'S WHICH WAS A POST CARD. IT HAS BEEN AMONG THE TREASURES OF THE MURPHY FAMILY SINCE THAT TIME. HAPPY PRESTON, MATERNAL GRANDMOTHER OF ED MURPHY WAS THE STATION MASTER & FRANCIS TOBIAS MURPHY, PATERNAL GRANDFATHER OF THE MURPHY FAMILY, IS PICTURED WHO EVENTUALLY WAS THE SHERIFF OF ROSCOMMON COUNTY IN THE 1940'S. OUR SINCERE THANKS TO DAN FISHEL WHO HAD THIS PICTURE PRODUCED TO A LARGER COPY AND IS SHOWN IN THE OFFICE OF THE VILLAGE OF ROSCOMMON. LOCATED IN THE VILLAGE CLERKS OFFICE OF KATHY MURPHY.
